All About Albuquerque

As an Albuquerque-based web design company, we love this city in the Land of Enchantment and think it has so much to offer. Authentic Web Solutions does web design projects for businesses all over the country, but have a special place in our hearts for Albuquerque and love our local clients. Here are some of the things that make Albuquerque so special.

The Great Outdoors

If you’ve never been to New Mexico before, you might think of it as just a desert. But of course, if you live here, or have visited, you know we have beautiful mountain ranges throughout, with the Sandias right here in our backyard. Cibola Nation Forest offers incredible opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and camping. And even if you aren’t able to take to the trails (or that’s just not your thing) you can take the Sandia Peak Tramway to the top of the mountain and see the incredible views below.

Family Fun in Albuquerque

One favorite activity for families is going to Cliff’s Amusement Park. It’s fun for everyone, with roller coasters, carnival games, and an awesome water park. Also, if you and your family enjoy golfing together, locals and visitors can’t get enough of the 27 beautiful holes offered at Arroyo del Oso Golf Course. Another family favorite is the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. Since Albuquerque plays an important role in the nation’s history of the Atomic Age, it’s the perfect location to learn about the subject. Of course, the BioParks provide a lot of entertainment to families as well.

History in Albuquerque

Albuquerque is a city with a rich history that can be seen all over the city. Petroglyph National Monument provides a trip to the past with tens of thousands of fascinating petroglyphs from centuries past. There’s still a large influence from the Native American people as evidenced in the food and New Mexico’s 19 pueblos. You can also learn more at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center. And, in Downtown Albuquerque, you can visit the San Felipe de Neri Church which takes people back to the early 1700s with some of the oldest standing architecture in the city.

Home of the Lobos

We have to mention that Albuquerque is home to the University of New Mexico and the Lobos! The University is near an iconic Albuquerque neighborhood called Nob Hill, which brings in the history of Route 66 along with the fun and upbeat college vibe and great dining.

There truly are so many unique features of Albuquerque, and we love being based in this beautiful city. Learn more about specific Albuquerque communities by clicking the links below.
