The support plans time allotment for each of our website maintenance packages includes simple updates and additions to your website to meet your needs. Here are just a few examples:

• Text changes or additions
• Image changes
• Adding new pages or landing pages for a marketing campaign (image and text content must be provided)
• Updating or adding new forms
• Researching new features or functionality and recommending the best approach
• Scheduling blog posts

Depending on the complexity of your request, it may take more than your allotted website support time to complete a task. If it does, we will let you know when we get your request and send over an estimate for your approval prior to getting started.

Every website we build and manage comes equipped with a carefully selected suite of WordPress plugins including a theme, page builder and form builder.

All plugins that we own a developer license for are included at no cost in your website maintenance plan. This list varies from time to time, but generally includes user friendly plugins such as:

• Astra Themer
• Beaver Builder
• Gravity Forms
• WP Rocket
• The Event Calendar
• GiveWP

Occasionally, premium WordPress plugins with annual fees may be required to enhance your website’s functionality. Unless explicitly stated, these plugins are not included in our services and need to be purchased separately. This ensures you have access to updates, which are crucial for maintaining your website's security.

For websites we’ve built, we’ll discuss any potential premium plugin requirements in advance, so you’re never caught off guard.

For websites built by others, we’ll conduct a thorough audit of your existing plugins. If premium plugins are required, we’ll inform you. In some cases, you might not be aware of these plugins if your previous provider used their own developer license. If we already have a developer license, we’re happy to extend it to you. Otherwise, we’ll ask you to purchase the necessary license.

Support time does not roll over for month-to-month contracts. However, annual plans provide the full year’s support time upfront, allowing you to use it anytime within the 12-month period.

We’ll always notify you when you’re nearing the end of your one hour of support time. If a website request exceeds your remaining support time, we’ll provide an estimate of how long it will take and seek your approval for the additional budget before starting any work. This ensures complete transparency and eliminates any unexpected surprises.

We will need access to your website hosting account, WordPress dashboard as an Admin and your domain upon signing so we can kick-off the process with our hosting partner and web development team.

Once you complete the agreement, we'll have your WordPress website maintenance package fully set up within the first month.

We aim to respond within one business day to clarify your request or begin work, with a typical turnaround time of 3-5 business days unless otherwise specified in our initial response. To ensure efficient workflow management, especially if your primary contact is unavailable, we ask that you direct all support requests to support@authenticwebsolutions.com.

Our website maintenance packages are preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything from happening. However, in the event that your website has a major issue, we will communicate with the web hosting company on your behalf. We do not make guarantees that your website will not be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration, cleanup, and site maintenance with one of our backups.

Yes, absolutely. Your WordPress admin dashboard will not change when we take over hosting and website maintenance.

Yes! Websites with advanced functionality like WooCommerce or Shopify take more resources for us to manage, test and keep running smoothly. For the Website Protection Package there is an additional fee of $50 on a monthly basis for eCommerce updates and website support. For our Performance and Partner Website Packages, eCommerce updates and website support are included in the standard fees.

Although our website maintenance packages are designed for sites that were built by us, we have taken over WordPress websites built by a freelance web designer or another web design company.  

We first like to do a Website Evaluation to become familiar with the website, how it was built and any potential issues that can arise. With the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup.

Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix, required software updates, and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly website maintenance package. We’ll work with anybody regardless of their hosting provider. We realize that every website has different needs and that clients have different budgets and hosting requirements. Yes, of course! We offer monthly and annual payment options for our web care plan. 

• Monthly Terms: Monthly support time does not roll over for month-to-month contracts. Monthly payments require a credit card to be kept on file for automatic billing each month.
• Annual Terms: If you choose to pay annually, you will receive all of your website support time upfront, allowing you to use it anytime within the 12-month period prior to your renewal date. Annual payments will be invoiced and you can pay online via check or credit card. 

100%. Absolutely. We would be disappointed to see you go but we know there is sometimes a need to go a different route.

• Termination Terms: We require written notice at least 30 days prior to the monthly or annual renewal date. 

Request a cancellation via email to support@authenticwebsolutons.com. Upon request, we will transition any ongoing Services to you or a new vendor that falls within the 30 day termination period. Otherwise, if it falls outside of this window we will bill hourly for any future transition support.

We hope it never gets to that point, but if it does, we will help migrate the website to your new company and/or work with whomever you decide to work with to make sure it is a smooth transition for you and your site's visitors. We just ask for 30 days notice so we have time to backup and download a copy of the site, transition to your new host, and turn off billing.
