We work closely with our clients. Frequent and open communication is necessary for projects to run smoothly and successfully. If you are a consultant hiring us to help your client, this still applies. We just can’t do our job effectively if we aren’t able to easily interact with our clients.
You need content. Design and user experience are key components of a website, but none of that matters unless you have content. We are happy to provide a proposal for web design and development, but if you don’t have content, and aren’t on the path towards creating it, we won’t be able to move past the proposal stage. If you’re having writer’s block, don’t have the resources, or feel more comfortable with someone else taking on the (sometimes daunting) task of copywriting, we can help.
Websites aren’t a field of dreams. You can’t take an “if you build it, they will come” approach. SEO, social media, email campaigns, paid advertising and blogging all contribute to driving traffic to your site. If you want visitors to your website, you’ll need to embrace this concept with open arms, bear-hug style.
It’s important to know what you want. Before we get started, you’ll need to understand what you want your website to do for you. If you don’t know, we won’t know and then nobody knows and that’s a problem.
Websites aren’t slow-cookers. Contrary to popular belief, you can’t just “set it and forget it.” Once your website is launched it needs to be maintained on a monthly basis to keep it secure and running smoothly. It’s up to you whether you want to take a DIY approach, hire us to perform upkeep, or use a third party to help your site run smoothly. Just understand that your website will be an ongoing investment.
Our process is tried and true. We follow an agile working process that has been honed through years of experience. It works for us and it works for our clients. And that’s why we stick to it.
